I’m not sure how I found this one, if someone pointed it out to me or if I stumbled across it on Amazon. All I can say is this: it is an amazing book that every Christian male should read.

You see, Mom raised me. Dad was there; but he wasn’t. At least he wasn’t until I was 18. Then he took an interest in me.

I’ve struggle trying to figure out what it means to be a dad. I’ve plead with the Father to teach me Himself. And He has greatly. He showed me:

Ephesians 5:25(NASB)

25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,

Matthew 11:28-30(NASB)

28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and my burden light.”

I am to be gentle as Christ is to me. I am to carry her burdens as Christ has done for me. I am to love her unconditionally and sacrificially as Christ had done for me…

But this book puts words to my understanding. Helps me to realize what my complete role is as head of the family.

Too many boys and girls are being brought up without dads…
