I was thinking on Moses today.

Exodus 14:14-16 NASB
“13 But Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever.

14 “The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent.”

15 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward.

16 “As for you, lift up your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, and the sons of Israel shall go through the midst of the sea on dry land.”

-> If we had our way we’d never run into any mountains or any giant bodies of water to cross. Let alone to have an enemy at our backs wanting to destroy us.

I believe He purposely allows these impossibilities to come into our path to help our faith grow and to show us how awesome He is.

I also think that He loves it when we call on Him. When we seek Him.

I liken it to a boy wanting to rescue a damzel in distress. He delights in blessing us. He delights in rescuing us and showing us His strength.

All we have to do is accept Him, turn to Him and tell Him of our heart’s desires. And believe.
