There’s always a first post; a beginning. I dare not wax on about the importance of it or get philosophical. However, my thoughts tend to Scripture:
Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. – Matthew 14:28-29(NASB)
There was that first, terrifying step onto the water. Onto a liquid to which you know not the depth of. Waves crashing in.
And so here is my first step, eyes focused on Jesus. I dare not look away. I’m dedicating the rest of my life to writing fictional novels with the Word intertwined and writing on the Word itself from my personal experiences.
All I can say is this:
“O Lord, I beseech You, may Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant and the prayer of Your servants who delight to revere Your name, and make Your servant successful today and grant him compassion before this man.” – Nehemiah 1:11 (NASB)
